There was something really quick I noticed on one of our first nice runs by Martinez

Cam and Coop took a second and were woofing at eachother pumped up

And if you go back to all the trash talk from in camp you could kinda feel like it was one of those moments where they’re like “yeah now we get to **** someone else up”

It was one of those, "Yeah I just slapped you, wtf you gon do about it?!?" type games.

We were focused & stoic in our approach. Just walked into BHG, knocked over all their lamps, rearranged their furniture, raided their fridge & dared them to do something about it.

We made them uncomfortable in their own house.

I had multiple non Miami friends text me saying man Miami is dominating them boys.

They all said Miami looks like they are on a mission. For the first time Miami looked like the alphas on this roster.

Ive been saying it back when TVd was here he was a loser and weak. Teams feed of that crap.

Now Miami added an alpha in Cam and you see the difference.

Baron, Mesidor, Kiko… these dudes are alphas. **** Bain didn’t even play.

Damien Martinez just running fools over. Lyle playing hard and fizical.
 
Kiko...plays like some of those old school linebackers. He's coming with bad intentions. Haven't really seen that from our line backers since Perryman. Shaq and Pink were good, but not as vicious and nasty as Kiko. I'm not putting him on that level yet, but he reminds me a little of Micheal Barrow.
 
This was the game to the staff to set the season up. A statement game at your real rival's house. A tough environment in the SEC. A statement for every recruit in house and watching. Real or not, in recruits beliefs, dominating the, it conference. A statement game to big money boosters, this investment is working. Money, Money, Money, Money, got to have it. Move the needle, huge win. Attention grabbing nationwide.

This can't be overstated. UF is not talentless and didn't necessarily play badly; I thought defensively they took us out of rhythm quite a bit, but Cam/Baron/team did what they wanted to do anyway.

We’re getting there. You can see the athleticism leveling up. We actually had DBs make plays on the ball.

Shoutout to Chase Smith, he had great snaps. Jaden Harris has taken that next step. And the young secondary was great all game. We know what we have with the D-Line it is to me the best DE group in the country, Tyler Baron was underrated in the preseason national media wise.

Only disappointment was the effort from Sam Brown, but I know he will make big plays this year and produce. Next week I hope to see CJ mixed a little more, seems like they’re trying to keep him happy on KR but looks like Lyle passed him and Ajay Allen up in camp.

No pregame shoving matches or after the whistle bull****. That insecure little brother syndrome, that leads to that kinda stuff was gone. It was a mature *** whooping, with the perfect amount of gator chomp mocking after big scores. A real we know we’re better than you and we’re showing it attitude.
