Our fanbase seems to love attributing all sacks to the QB holding the ball too long even when the OL is simply getting beat and the poor QB has no chance to even plant his feet or look downfield.

OL was getting beat but also the coverage was real good

People always complain about play calling...I even heard complaints last year about Chip Kelly or Norm Chow was once a god and now he's crap. Remember 2000? Yeah we kicked *** and people were screaming how Butch wasn't a good game day coach. Funny how that happens but if the Oline blocks and the running backs find the hole and the receivers catch it all works.
 
Whoever we start Louisville is gonna send some some sell out blitz at them. Its gonna be crazy. They are not gonna be like No D swiss cheese defense. Its gonna be tough. Lets just be glad its not one of those past FSU openers or we would have to bring body bags
 
UL will try the same thing that Auburn with with FSU.. gamble the game on making the QB hurry almost every throw. Blitz will come from every corner.

We need to practice quick throws and keep their D on the field as much as possible.. once we trie the **** out of them then open up the game with long throws
 
Auburn also had the signals for most of the FSU game. If you blitz all the time it's not as effective.

We have the playmakers to make them pay blitzing like crazy. Screens to Duke and Coley... Let's ride

Not really convinced that the scrimmage elevates to any sort of uberimportance. Nice change of pace for the players, mostly.

based off of what golden said in one of his interviews it has a bigger impact than the practices. obviously Heaps must have been hurt yesterday, golden said after saturday's practice that they would decide the starting qb after the 2nd scrimmage. its seems rather odd that he would sit out a battle that is as close as it is reportedly is to "rest his arm"
