Boysee State got boat-raced by USF. Who got smashed by Miami.
That's the talking point. GET ON IT!!
How is it that 10-2 UNLV had to play @ 8-4 Boise State in the conference championship game?
Another ACC style tie breaker system?
He did it! **** yeahI'm hoping Saban goes on a "Come on, what are we doing here..." rant about Miami/ND on Gameday tomorrow.
We need as much noise as possible.

There would be an uproar if ND jumped OU at this stage. Not enough juice for ND with the BSU win.The scenario were Bama wins and jumps OU and BYU wins and they put ND in over OU is a possibility
OU’s win over Bama goes up in value in this scenario. The scenario were Bama wins and jumps OU and BYU wins and they put ND in over OU is a possibility
You are correct but it's insane to think with all the H2H and common opponents they would then say that ND beating a good G5 school is the reason they go in over us. Insane...but yes, that's what they will do. Anything to move the goalposts AGAINJust popping in to tell you guys that Boysee State winning the Mountain West conference championship game against UNLV is going to be used by the playoff committee to give notre dame a boost over Miami.
The domers beat Boysee State earlier this year.
I’d agree but this committee values eye test and Oklahoma offense has been a tough watch and some of these advanced numbers favor ND over OUOU’s win over Bama goes up in value in this scenario.
Paging @TheOriginalCane. He did the research. Has a team ever, in the history of the playoff, ever lost a conference championship game and not dropped at least 1 spot in the following ranking?
I did the research on the SEC championship game in the CFP era. There have been 11 games. In the very first SEC game of the CFP Era, the loser was #16 Missouri, who did not move. However, 2014 Big 10 CG loser Wisconsin dropped 5 spots. The 2014 Pac-12 CG loser Arizona dropped 3 spots. The 2014 ACC CG loser GaTech dropped 1 spot. The Big 12 did not have enough teams to have a championship game in 2014.
For the 10 years SINCE 2014, the SEC CG loser has dropped 1 spot or more EVERY YEAR. In 5 of those 10 years, the drop knocked the losing team OUT OF the playoffs, including in 2023 when previously #1 and undefeated Georgia was dropped 5 spots off of a 3-point loss, which prevented them from being in the playoffs, but allowed them to DESTROY the "unconquered" SemenHoles of F$U.
Might as well go ahead and do this:

2014 CG loser Wisconsin DROPPED 5 SPOTS (13 to 18)

---CG LOSER DROPPED 1 OR MORE SPOT 6 OF 8 YEARS, 2 YEARS OF NO DROP
---CG LOSER DROPPED OUT OF PLAYOFFS 0 TIMES
The problem is 1 spot vs 2 spots.Good stuff. So it’s about 85% of the time or more the CG loser drops at least 1 spot.
The problem is 1 spot vs 2 spots.
1 spot is bad.
2 spots is good.
Got it.I’m talking about BYU. We need them to drop if they lose. Apparently it happens almost 90% of the time. I’ve long maintained we need BYU to lose AND Bama to win. Keeps Bama above ND and drops BYU out.

Fanduel odds to make the playoffs:
ND -172
Miami +410
Probably based of current BYU game.. If BYU continues to stay in the game, the line for both will keep getting worse.
