I'm thinking 5 teamsHow many ACC teams are ranked on Tuesday?
I wanna say at least 4 with Pitt beating GT. Hoping SMU & Wake Forrest can both sneak in there but it’ll be too close to call.

The ACC champion is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. You seriously didn't know that? These post game shows still have Utah ahead of Miami and "in the conversation"
We will know Tuesday..
I think it's entirely possible the ACC has NO ONE in the 12 team field. IF SMU ends up the ACC champ, they won't put them in - too many losses to OOC teams. They won't be ranked high enough.
Canes have to beat Pitt.
Need to hope Vandy loses next week. this is huge in the big picture for Miami
Thank you Frank Brown for laying down vs Syracuse making ND absolutely untouchable, no matter what.
Dinich has Utah still at #12 projected, with this blurb:
Why they could be lower: The committee could reward Miami's convincing road win at Virginia Tech and bump the Canes up a notch because they played far better defense -- albeit against a 3-8 ACC team. Utah allowed 472 rushing yards and 11.2 yards per carry against Kansas State -- on their home field. It was Miami's third straight win by at least 17 points, showing some of the consistency committee members had been looking for. Miami's season-opening win against Notre Dame is also better than any win Utah has earned to-date.
The fact that they let us jump them last week while on bye makes me think that they do actually want us ahead of them. It would have been easy for them to just not shuffleWhat will the committee do with Vandy?
I believe we will jump Utah this week, they really should have lost.Dinich has Utah still at #12 projected, with this blurb:

I also think we jump Utah, if not this week, we should if we win at Pitt. The only potential concern is if Vandy wins at Tenn. I don't trust the committee to put us in the same tier as ND.I believe we will jump Utah this week, they really should have lost.
Next week we need to win convincingly at Pitt and hope for some Chaos on rivalry week. Can’t go 3 straight weeks with no major upsets in the top 12.
You sound really confident for being on the wrong side lmao
What will the committee do with Vandy?
Same with LSU v OklahomaNo one should be surprised if Auburn beats Alabama. That is always a tough game and Bama under Deboar hasn’t been good on the road. Auburn has played a lot of tough games and look better since Freeze was removed.
I feel like this has been talked about ad nauseam on this board. The five highest rated champions make it. In theory there’s a world where the SBC, CUSA, Mountain West, MAC and AAC champ could be the five highest rated champions. Leaving no auto bids for the P4 conferences. Again that’s pretty much only in theory but there’s nothing that says these specific conferences are guaranteed one spot. The ACC champion is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.
