I think we will jump utah

I'm worried vandy can jump us if they beat Tennessee next week

and I'm worried that we'll never jump byu if they win tonight, even if they lose to Texas Tech again

but utah I think we should and can this coming tuesday


because our resume got "better"

SMU is now ranked and we no longer have 2 unranked losses, we've also won 1 more game in a row. the longer we separate ourselves from SMU loss the more recency bias doesn't hurt us
 
The committee might have us jump Utah to avoid the ND scandal even some in the press are questioning.

Every team that lost a conference championship game dropped at least a spot last year. IU was idle and moved up a spot, jumping SMU.

If BYU doesn’t lose tonight we’re pretty much cooked. I don’t think Bama loses to Auburn. LSU might get under 100 yards vs OU next week. Maybe Washington does the unthinkable but even then, I doubt Oregon drops behind us after thumping USC.
