Yea but Oregon would drop below us. Oregon has no ranked wins. Their resume isn’t great. They’d have played two currently ranked teams and lost both of them.
Utah and BYU still exist. They’ve done nothing. 3 9-3 SEC teams were ranked above 10-2 BYU last year.Nd plays two **** teams… down the stretch. But there not looking to take nd out. It’s either oregons spot or alabamas or win the acc.
No. Miami play like booty cheeks. Refs can suck but that is not close to why they lost - just stop it.Both things can be true
Last year they blamed us for losing to Syracuse while discounted Alabama losing to unranked Vandy & OU. It’s all voodoo vibes bro.Good losses is such ridiculous metric to use lmao
And the other thing is, both our Ls are against 7-3 teams and were thisclose.Good losses is such ridiculous metric to use lmao
They would jump ND too right? Isn’t that how it works
It won’t but it wouldn’t hurt us per se. Unless it moves ND further up. Again we have a common opponent vs USC. Either way, I don’t think USC wins.Oregon and USC would just be swapping a playoff spot. That game won't benefit us.
At some point that ND win would have to work in our favor. I'm banking on that giving us the edge in the rankings since that is the common opponent.USC would jump us
I think 2 loss Oregon stays ahead of us if their only 2 losses are IU and USC.It won’t but it wouldn’t hurt us per se. Unless it moves ND further up. Again we have a common opponent vs USC. Either way, I don’t think USC wins.
This is exactly right. Even though Bama has far better wins than ND, their made-up "within three-games" rule would only apply if ND were ranked 10, so they put Bama at 10 and ND at 9 despite Bama's far better resume. Absolutely insane. They moved them below to create buffer to say not in same tier so no head 2 head
We need to jump some teams before that game. A buffer between us and Vandy would help.Them leaving Tennessee top 22 means that if Vandy beats them they’ll leapfrog us again I guarantee it. We are goin to need some losses by some teams or they will not put us in.
Oh man that Alabama education rearing its headGreg Mcilroy or whatever on espn just said that you’re looking for a point of comparison for Miami and Notre Dame and that common opponent is Pitt…..
If only there was a MORE DEFINITIVE point of comparison between Miami and ND…………..
That team has 4 ranked wins, including the best win in the country (@UGA)And the other thing is, both our Ls are against 7-3 teams and were thisclose.
They’re talking like we lost to a horrible FSU team or something.
Oh wait, that’s a different 8-3 team that’s ahead of us.
Shullbit.
And ranking Mizzou to pad OU’s resume when they beat them this week.Them leaving Tennessee top 22 means that if Vandy beats them they’ll leapfrog us again I guarantee it. We are goin to need some losses by some teams or they will not put us in.
according to the committees logic, they’d be ahead of USC too right. Head to head doesn’t matter. Or does that only apply to usI think 2 loss Oregon stays ahead of us if their only 2 losses are IU and USC.
At some point that ND win would have to work in our favor. I'm banking on that giving us the edge in the rankings since that is the common opponent.
