They get posts from our board all the time, as recently as a few weeks ago.

Actually they had a poll a while back where Canes fans were ranked amongst the worst lol

I like the account because it highlights how ridiculous & stupid a lot of fans are...

It’s also good to see for retrospective the kind of fans that we should strive to not be like, hence why many of us clown UF & FSU fans for being delusional homers, however, we have our own group of those too.

Which is why it’s important to not be like that, can’t clown Noles & Gators if we act just like them, that’s why having non sunshine pumping opinions & pushing back against blind homerism on the board is imperative.

To me the problem with a fan like this is he feels entitled to be entertained. He doesn’t care about the sacrifice the players make, the injuries, the time away from school and friends. Because that college football player is supposed to entertain the fan. I can’t stand people like this. If you no longer enjoy watching something then stop watching. But too denigrate the effort made by the players is unacceptable.
 
Unfortunately I don’t think this view is rare. I think a lot of people want to watch sports but don’t think it’s fair for players to get much money. Same fans think the school/owner getting money is just fine. Not to get political, but some people just don’t think those that do the work shouldn’t get much of the profit.

Also, everybody who’s not doing NIL right is complaining right now. F*ck ‘em.

His comment is full of distain towards the players and shows a willful ignorance and irrational dislike of these young men. It’s truly bizarre, almost as if they have somehow personally offended him. People like this aren't right in the head.

I’m sure there are, I haven’t seen anything as bad as this guy, but I’m sure there’s thousands of posts I’ve missed, though. But I’m not objective either because I dont believe in dragging our players so I stay away from that.
 
I will take delusional homer fans over these negative cry babies who hate everything about the game. They hate the way offense is played now. They hate the way defense is played now. They hate players getting money. They hate players being able to transfer. I wish they’d stop watching like they always threaten to do but never actually do. Then I wouldn’t have to hear them complaining anymore.

We can clown on UF or FSU for having delusional fans but we have plenty of them. Every fan base does. It’s part of fandom. Possibly the greatest thing about sports is that hope springs eternal. Every terrible team is undefeated in the off season. Most fans are casual and that can lead to some pretty ridiculous takes but that’s part of the game.
