Jeudy will be a Cane. No doubt in my mind. Only reason Bama was even in the picture is because they started recruiting him while Folden was here. Richt will get him without a doubt.

It's really bothering me that this staff is slow playing Nick. Nick has shown nothing but excellent coverage skills, and a love for the program. Think we would be making a HUGE mistake letting him go.
 
If we really are beating Bama for the Dallas kid, that's a HUGE win!

It means we beat Saban AND Jeremy Pruitt for a talent.

What an elite recruiting tool..when you can put up a cool million and show recruits how much you care about the program.

Thanks for the information. Those of us who are out of town rely on these kinds of posts to get actual information to rely upon.

Richt himself has said the difference between the ACC & SEC is "the big guys."

Miami can recruit corners and receivers and improve. They can start getting speed again and getting upfield to play better defense, but they aren't going to start beating the SEC teams, Clemson, FSU etc. until they start showing they can land elite talent on the lines. I don't even see Miami mentioned for elite kids along the lines right now and that's a bit surprising.

Pete, do you believe the reason for this is because Richt hasn't had time to start those relationships (hasn't even coached a game yet)? Recruiting for that type of player takes either the hot team or a long relationship, but I'd like to see us listed for more top-25 type kids in 2017/2018.

This was a nice update though in that we beat out Alabama for a kid, and I believe we will get Jeudy as well.

Im cool if they drophim to get better players, but to me if he isnt in the class i wont be upset like tyler byrd.

Richt has beat Saban, Jimbo, Miles, etc plenty of times on the recruiting trail. I don't know why it would surprise anyone that he does it again.

Exactly. Some of these dudes have been so laced up on Bama and the SEC that they forget Miami was Bama from 2000-2003.
