Rumor The Weather...I'm Shook...SO SHOOOOOOOOK

Absolutely won’t be an electric atmosphere like it should.. coming from Jupiter I planned to leave at 2pm to head down.. but with how bad the weather is expected who wants to sit in a vehicle for 4-5hrs before going in… then how many people will just not go cuz if it rains like it’s forecasted you’ll be drenched before you get in the stadium.
Idk man, sometimes the rainy games make people go nuts. I think it will be electric regardless

These are some of the softest comments I’ve ever read. It rained for Florida and Notre Dame last year too.

If you go west into West Miami and Doral, they often speak to you in Spanish first in retail stores and restaurants.

This past July I visited family in Hialeah and Kendall and after day 4 I remember telling wifey that I just realized I had not spoken English for 4 days (exception being family).
It's crazy.
I had a relative in central Florida last week and he was going up to speaking Spanish first. I don't like it, tbh.

When a cashier or employee look at you crazy because you dont speak spanish is the ultimate mind bender when people come to miami

I am concerned about our visitors (recruits) have to deal with possible rain.
I think they should get these recruits a box suite where they can stay dry and enjoy the game.
There’s like 80 of them… so how many boxes might that be? And you tell all those boosters and well to do fans exactly what when they commandeer their suite?
Did you even think k about that before you wrote it????

It’s maddening to a lot of the long time resident old people who aren’t Hispanic, though they’re dying off. I grew up with it so I’m used to it and all like you I assume. For my non-English speaking Dominican wife, visiting the area, I don’t even stay where I’m from on Miami Beach, I stay in the Doral area for her. Here in California, English is spoken first. For her it’s a good change as a visitor.

Yea born n raised doesnt really bother me and I never noticed it honestly.. Like fish in water really, but when visitors would come it would be a real mind **** and they would comment but wouldnt let bother but when the attitude from a cashier is like this is miami, you are supposed to know spanish thats when you see the discourse..

I laughed it off but I remember being in texas and meeting a night ballerina and she said she was in US for 6 months and I was suprised because her english was decent enough and i asked where she from and she said Cuba, LOL.. I was like in miami they make it seem like its impossible and she said you HAVE TO learn here so she had no choice.. Miami is just a unique spot, like a disney land Havana due to politics.. Just have to embrace the experience lol
