The verdict is in on James Brockermeyer

Offensive line weakness under a Cristobal/Mirabal staff in year FOUR is unacceptable.

Not scheming around it, and actually exacerbating the problem with dumb play calls is essentially self-sabotage.

What's really confusing is why the Columbus HS grad Ryan Rodriguez, who is basically a clone of Mario/Mirabal, was never given a fair shake.

Mario will make excuses for olineman and protect them, there is no reason to improve because they have immunity.
is it so hard to believe other teams get away with stuff they arent supposed to given our 2 NFL defensive ends never get holding called

exactly, everything is Marios fault. Mario is always lying, yall funny.

We literally watch the games every week in the ACC and see were getting blatantly cheated and this was so hard to believe.

Despite Miami staff 100% bringing this to officials attention have we seen one delay of game on the defense all season?

If Mario is such a offensive line guru, why does he have to keep going to portal for 3 straight years for a center

b/c Connor Lew flipped on us and Rodriguez is made of glass. Very few teams have a C that isn't an upperclassman grown man.

But you just like to complain about everything so carry on.

He has been losing at the point of attack too many times to count as the season has gone on. He was blown up by Louisville last week and run over by Stanford with ease until they ran out of gas. This on top of the many illegal procedure penalties that have been a killer this year.

A big disappointment and a big drop off at center for Mario.
It's quite puzzling because this coaching staff knew that run blocking was Brockermeyer's big weakness. Still, if the staff has gone with Brockermeyer over Rodriguez there must be a good reason. I just don't know what it is. Also, I don't think that SJ Alofaituli is anywhere near ready to be our starting Center. Next Spring there should be an intense competition for the Center position with Rodriguez, Alofaituli and Francavilla all in the mix. However, unless the staff is truly high on someone already on the roster, I think we should go get another Center in the portal. Another Center and a Tackle would be a good place to start.

Agree on portal center i would go after portal guard though we don’t have enough athletic guards on our current roster hopefully we can find one

Yep Lew has been a 3 year starter. He just flipped at the last second. We would have been set there for the last 3.

Just heard Mario blame this on opposing team mimicking cadence again.. why is this still an issue every week?
lol watch the view they had behind the QB. Not a single thing was done. Nobody clapped, moved, made noise, etc. JB is just a mental midget and can’t handle the most basic noise of a stadium that was mellowed out at 80% capacity.
