What is it going to take to get back to being loved and respected as the University of Miami and not this soft beta shhh

It's going to take bringing the Colombians back into the fold...Great source of liquidity, they have an extensive bag and laundering service, and they don't accept decommitments from their clients. Actually when you look at the top 25 right now, only a handful of those schools have better academics than us: ND, USC, Navy and Virginia. Those schools haven’t done anything in the past 10 years. Look at schools like Stanford, Cal, Vanderbilt, Wake forest, Northwestern, UCLA, Texas, Duke and UNC. Some of these programs are a hot mess. These schools really haven’t put up a better product than Miami.
 
I remember a TV pregame show before our first NC and the call it The University of Coral Gables. I think Howard corrected them and made the point of The U on the helmet. Maybe Manny meant pre howard U with that TNU bs.

You missed UF who is ranked ahead of us. So is Michigan. Wisconsin and Georgia ranked just ahead of us as well. So is Ohio State whose in the playoffs again. Not to mention we lost to those hot mess programs UNC and Duke this year. 2 game losing streak to Duke so I'd say they are putting a better product on the field than we are.

Nah... the cash cow is UHealth. Besides 6-6 seasons and losses to underdogs doesn't change the BOT's mind regarding football and money flow... it's cause and effect.

Miami is better academically than Wisconsin, Ohio state and Florida but I get your point.

Coach Macho, gogeta, Liberty City El, and myself been saying this for YEARS to y'all.

Ask most football players down here about Miami and they will tell y'all to your face, while you have that Turnover Chain Dyme Lyfe gimmick around your neck that your school is trash. They ain't lying to you, man.

The chain ran its course. Had it just been left as it was, alternating between the U and Sebastian it would have been fine. But no, we gotta add a 305 and goofy rings and turn them from a cherished part of team tradition to an object of national derision.

This team needs to get back to basics and stop valuing style over substance.
