The thing is, the NCAA doesn't award a national champion. There are dozens of polls out there (most of them you've never even heard of) and anybody who finishes #1 in ANY of those polls can claim a national title. Most schools don't recognize titles awarded by anybody outside of the AP poll, coaches poll, BCS or CFP. I know for a fact that Miami would have a claim to at least two more titles if they chose to recognize some meaningless poll that awarded them the final #1 ranking.

FACT as in Fact or an acronym for?
 
As much as I hate UCF and their BS, putting UCF in place of any of our ACC opponents would likely improve our SOS. That's how pathetic the ACC is.

UCF is dumb AF for not taking a 2 for 1 with us...

It would literally be the biggest games they play during whichever season it would be scheduled for.

I give James a hard time for our scheduling, especially when we're playing teams in the near future like Wagner, but I also understand that a lot of schools for whatever reason make it difficult to do deals with.

Miami despite not being a powerhouse like we once were in the 90's/00's is still a marquee program that gets national attention, I don't get why these lower level schools always try to negotiate with us like they have some kinda leverage.

In most of these situations we're the ones doing the favor.

Also, over the last decade, they’d have probably won 2/3 of those games. Imagine the actual cred that would’ve given them.

Instead they make fools of themselves claiming titles they didn’t win.

Man, in 20 years ucf fans are just going to say they won the playoffs, beat alabama, were voted the greatest football team ever in a national poll surveying only ucf alumni and solved climate change. It's their truth!

Seriously though what a joke that banner is on that stadium. Bad omen also as long as it's up imo. They can fool themselves and everyone else but don't **** with the football gods. Wonder if it was already up when milton went down.
