I don't give LSU that much credit. Sure, they worked us big time. No doubt. But that happens in cfb all the time, and each team gets theirs at some point. But LSU killing our program? Please. Stop it.

The date on the death certificate might read "12-27-2005" but the hit was contracted when the board of trustees hired donna shalala in 2001.

Doesn't matter when it "died."

What matters most is that the people in charge don't care to revive it.

They're completely content with this shell of a program we currently have with 8 win ceiling.

Wasn't it New Year's Eve, so the 31st?

We've had our balls ripped out and stuffed in our mouth so many times in the last decade it's not funny.

I've witnessed some great Miami victories in 30+ years as a fan, but I've also seen us take some absolute beatdowns. '93 Sugar Bowl, this game and the ND game in Chicago just to name a few. The Sugar Bowl was probably the worst of them all due to the ramifications.

Every major team in college sports has a game where they can remember and cringe and shudder like Sideshow Bob before Aunt Selma gives him a sponge bath. But The U ain't going away that easily, as painful as it was.

didnt follow the canes at the time as closely as i do now. that team always confuses me....seemed so talented but the offense just could never get it going. was it simply just lack of a solid qb? or did our OC just suck? ive always wondered how we werent able to utilize devin hester on offense in a normal role..not for 5 plays a game where the ball is obviously going to him. im sure i'll hear that he was too dumb to learn the offense, but it had to have been more than that. Most of these guys arent exactly harvard grads. what was the issue? i just remember hating kyle wright lol

Dissagree. It was that sickening KW choke vs Free Shoes, then the worst loss in all of Canes football, to GT at home.

*** Lsu....miami ain't dead....we Have some ***ed up people runnin chit. As soon as they are replaced with people that give a dam miami will return to its rightful spot on top of cfb
