Had to rewatch the video (lol).
But to answer your question I didn’t view it as pushing/ yelling in a Woody Hayes type of situation or even those situations where you see a coach grab one of his players face masks and yell / reprimand him.
Rather I viewed this particular situation as a coach trying to do what he viewed as the right thing and de-escalate a potentially confrontational situation (gloating as well); not exactly the same as but more along the lines of when you see teams come across the field toward each other and coaches yell at and push the players back.
As to the part about the team being embarrassed on national TV, I didn’t really look at it that way either. I thought that was big of Richt to apologize to the other team on TV. It also struck me that some - maybe not all - parents of players, recruits might have appreciated that as well.
Although we may differ on this you’ve raised some fair and interesting points and other perspectives.
 
You clowns do know Richt celebrates with his players all the time after a win. Let’s our players get in other teams faces before the game like against LSU and FSU.

The difference is those players back then could Talk ****, cause they did Hit, Stick and Bust D1ck.

Lately we’re all a whole lot of Talk **** and not much else. And that goes back to before Richt

Whatever. Butch put together the best cfb team ever. Coker’s title and runner up spot were butch’s. Not that it matters. That was almost 20 years ago shannon? Golden? If you’re content having someone who is marginally better than those guys, then your picture belongs in the dictionary next to the definition of low expectations. Shannon and Golden were incompetent. Congrats to you for being happy with just awful.
