I agree rules should be higher for a pass, they exist to establish 'possession' to judge incase of toe-tapping prior to control, or a fumble has occurred - a runner just has to break the plane with possession. But this is an endzone catch where 9 HAD established possession, tapped his toes and stepped out of bounds - those are 'football moves' when you catch a TD in the endzone. 'Football moves' like tucking, bracing for a hit, turning for the endzone, juking, stiff-arming etc happen between the endzones when the play is not over.

Maybe as you walk to the bench, like 10 seconds after the play, you drop the ball to the ground. Incomplete catch? No possession? I have seen plays where the receiver catches the ball in the end zone, and immediately spikes it in celebration. No catch?

Toney did that last week - I was scared they were going to call it incomplete.

Exactly… in my world its a catch but over the years whether nfl or college the definition of it are different from when i grew up . I normally would have had a blow my top be ****ed off for 6 months … but i knew we weren’t getting that call . So yup lets beat dook vt.. bc..

Please don’t do this ref ****. I’m so over it from all fan bases using it as cope. There’s 120 plays in a game and a penalty on every play. Injuries and refs are part of the game. Oh and that’s not a catch . We was outplayed and the better team this night won. Finish business and we can get some get back.
