So someone tell me if this is real because it’s what I heard.
Tri county alone produces easily over 100 d1 football scholarships.
Some of these kids are getting chased by the top spending schools and adults automatically se them as a a commodity.
As soon as a kid’s talent starts to become evident they get catch the attention of people that start providing transportation meals work outs and coaching.
And due to the sheer numbers of players that this state puts out; a lot of them played college and or pro ball and use that as a marketing strategy and as a plug to certain schools.
And most of those parents can’t pay these people for their help.
Now put yourself in Miami’s situation right smack dab in the middle of all these personalities.
If Uga or Texas need to recruit a db and a 5 star is available then you just have to court one group of people.
But if you want to recruit 5 or 6 players from down here then you are also recruiting g their people who spent years training and “helping” the kid and family.
Now the same thing happens in other places, but not to the level it does here.
“It’s almost an entire subculture” as I was told.
That’s why you never see a school “clean up” down here. It’s too much money.
