The Soundbyte That Should Be On EVERY Canes Tailgate Mix

Vibe was unreal, I've seen a ton of great games at the OB and experienced some real loud moments, e.g. Carlos Jones INT, McGahee screen, Hester v UF, but I'm not sure I've ever heard consistent noise like that game on Saturday night. Great job by the fans

I think you could be right. If we're measuring start to finish overall noise then Saturday night HAS to be up there as an all-timer.

The only thing close was a Fin game in OB. Playoff against Raiders, Ken the snake down in the WEZ couldn't get play off. He got on their bench and waved white towel at us -- surrender. Maybe there were so many great Cane games and crowds that just one doesn't jump out at me. Any way you cut it, Saturday night at The Rock was an all time fan game. I don't think it got quiet at all until well into the second half and even then it would crank back up. We might be bandwagon fans but o Lord what a frigging wagon we are. Team deserved us that night and we deserved them.

Never in my life have I watched a game of any sort on television in which the crowd noise was so loud they made the broadcasters almost impossible to hear at times. Not championships. Not even the World Cup and them **** vuvuzelas. The entire nation heard you, Canes fans. If you went to the game, you really need to do yourself a favor and watch the broadcast replay. You guys were so **** loud I had to several times walk up to the TV to hear what Herbie was trying to say. It was epic. Those ND fans plugging their ears...holy ****. I'm about to go watch it again.

I was at the game too but have watched the replay twice. I have tried to adjust the sound setting on my tv and still have a hard time hearing the announcers.

Was at the game and I agree this was the loudest game start to finish that I have ever attended and I have had CANES season tickets since the OB days. I was worried that a lot of season ticket holders would try to recoup their $$$ and sell to the Irish fans but thankfully that didn’t happen. Watched the replay after I got home and it was awesome to hear on TV as well. What a great night of kick *** CANES football. GO CANES
