Don't get me started on that. HB2 is blown way out of proportion and the law only affects government buildings while leaving individual business's able to set their own laws. It protects the rights of the business which is the typical republican way. The SEC and NCAA won't pull out of Tennessee, Mississippi or any other southern state that actually comes out and says it is discriminating and they don't care what any one says.

**** if I know. **** if anyone knows. You want to know why? Because App plays in the ****ing Sun Belt.

C-USA went after markets and are now paying the price as the Sun Belt has surpassed them and the MAC. If C-USA had not added the F_U schools and Charlotte and went for App and Georgia Southern, you'd have a decent idea.

Regardless, the UT game should've been a win, Miami this Saturday and Wake Forest next season. I suspect App goes 2-1 in those three. Consider there is already one loss, you can do the math.

And that's just it. UT played like crap and App State couldn't beat them. You know how bad Miami will have to play for this game to be close? See you Saturday afternoon.

I moved to Memphis from Miami four years ago so I don't get down there very often myself. There's a reason why you get a ton of Miami tourists up there, bible belt and all.

I don't mind the Floridiots. Mostly the women who are in the Raleigh and Charlotte areas but the mountains are full of retiree's who migrate as the weather changes. The only reason I'm not a fan of the migration is it sets the market for housing higher than it needs to be and during the winter all of the nice areas are vacant.

Too obvious? App State won’t sneak up on the ‘Canes after nearly upsetting Tennessee, but the Mountaineers are talented enough to pull this one off at home.

This makes my blood boil. App State couldn't score when they needed to against UT, and were gifted half their points. If they score 34 on us then Diaz needs to be put on notice. I simply can't see that happening. Far more likely we destroy their O-line early and often. It's App State, not Florida State.

ESPN wants to prove once and for all time that Miami is just a chitty midmajor that cheated its way to a few titles back in the '80's. (Just like UNLV won a NC in basketball).Better watch the officials in this damned game. (There's more than one Terry Porter out there.)

So if Vegas set the short spread based on perception, why hasn't it moved since Miami is getting around 80% of the bets? Oh yeah...because Vegas has their money and fully expects App State to cover the spread, thus Vegas wins.

Also, it doesn't matter how or why the game was scheduled. Due to the fact that App State's AD is a former Marketing Coordinator or some variation of that for Mizzou, he is able to sell the program and the series. This App State team, as a whole, is better than the 2007 team that beat Michigan. The only real disparity is QB play and Armanti Edwards was the first CFB QB regardless of division to throw for 10,000 yards and rush for 4,000 yards in a career.

In regards to Miami being the first P5 school to visit (P5 is a bull**** division created by ESPN to drive their cash cow further while stomping out the programs who more or less cost more to broadcast than they bring in) you have to start somewhere. Don't let the P5 v. G5 fool you. The talent gap is actually closing while the monetary gap (due to TV contracts and the playoff set-up) is widening. It isn't a coincidence that G5 and FCS victories over P5 schools has remained constant while the dollars continue to flow to schools who traditionally are seen as more powerful, though that power resides purely in marketability.

Miami fans (not necessarily the team) are going to be in for a rude awakening this Saturday and you'll learn that your bulldog attitude can't match up to your puppy dog ***.

App State fans ARE smarter than Miami fan's because App State fans actually went to college whereas Miami fan's, by in large, likely didn't go to college at Miami.

App has admission percentages now similar to what Chapel Hill and State has and it is far more difficult to be accepted into than ECU, Charlotte or Wilmington. Notice i'm comparing apples to apples (Public schools) rather than apples to oranges (private school).

If I had the money in reserves to pay for an education to Miami, I likely would've applied because Miami is a great academic school, however many of the fans here (i'd bet around 90%) didn't attend Miami.
