The Showdown at Kidd Brewer Stadium

This game kind of reminds me of the Kstate game few years back at Kstate. Same offense, same type of Stadium. Not saying App state is as good as Kstate that year, but we learn a lot about our defense that game, unfortunately. Should be a good game, but if App state can't stop the run, it's going to get out of hand, quick!

I hear you, but this team is not anything like that KSU team. Don't forget, that KSU team ended up winning 11 games, 4 vs ranked teams, winning the Big 12 and going to the Fiesta Bowl.

If anything, this is like the 2009 game at Wake.

My problem isn't them being excited about it, but rather the media acting like they will beat us. UT played the worst game possible, and App State played even worse the second half. UT did everything possible to give App State the game. Turnovers, penalties, IDIOTIC play calling, and they still won. Why? Because App State wasn't good enough to beat an average UT team on their absolute worst day.

The media is doing Rick a favor by providing what should be tremendous motivation to our players. Our players should be raging that all the puppetheads are picking an FCS team to beat them.

I would agree with the patty cake we used to play. This will be a good test/gauge to see just how disruptive our dline can be when everything is spread out.

Miami needs a game like this to show the world things are finally changing here. Lose, and it's simply more of the same old ****.

You don't lose to a team of 2 stars at Miami with a team loaded with NFL talent and a top veteran QB. This isn't a "sneak up on you" game because everyone's pumping App Store to beat us. So there's no excuse to go in there flat or to lose to a completely undermanned FCS team unless our coaching staff gets worked by theirs.

This makes my blood boil. App State couldn't score when they needed to against UT, and were gifted half their points. If they score 34 on us then Diaz needs to be put on notice. I simply can't see that happening. Far more likely we destroy their O-line early and often. It's App State, not Florida State.
