The Search Committee Recommends who off this list?...

This is what I think the committee will come back to Blake.
Only 6 will get official interviews.. (6 is just the number we are working with for now)

These coaches meets some of the criteria below (this is just mine for the sake of the post)
- makes 4M or less
- currently not a HC
- At a Power 5 school with HC exp
- a G5 HC with a winning record that was a coordinator at a P5 and won there
- Has had a 10 win seasons
- Has won a title
- Miami Lineage

Viability.

Patterson is an elite coach ... Just below Chip Kelly, IMO. I think Gundy is right there with Patterson.

But I don't see Gundy or Patterson as remotely viable to UM. Not because UM is a bad job, but because I think TCU and Oklahoma State are already quality programs.

Patterson has been at TCU since 1998 ... I just don't see him leaving.

And while Gundy might have a wandering eye for other jobs, I don't see him leaving Stillwater.

I could see Kingsbury leaving TT, even though it's his school ... And I could see him being a fit in South Florida.

Butch is your floor. Any of those above are SOLID to excellent hires. I would sell the **** farm for Patterson. Throw the kitchen sink at the dude. IMO that's the ultimate dream scenario. That would be the equivalent of UM getting a Saban or Meyer. Grand Slam hire. Biggest ***** up in the history of UM football was not hiring him when we had the chance.
