All these dumb agenda's.
Want to know who the clear cut number two is? Isn't that obvious from the amount of playing time the three backups got?
I would be surprised if the other two were seen much on the field the rest of the year, if at all. There's only one Savannah State on our schedule.
Some of you act like we should keep getting them all action. That right there is a giant tell showing you have no idea how practices go during the season. There isn't time to get three or four QB's reps with the starters. No team in the land does that in season. Spring or Fall, they will play around with that, but even then it's limited.
This board man, it's discussions like this that make me wonder what the point of posting is when so many are clueless.
Williams and Weldon are far behind the other two and that's apparent due to reps. The same is true of those getting minutes at the other positions late in the game, 3rd or 4th stringers. People say Lo should get more reps, no doubt he has talent, but he needs to know his roles, blocking assignments, etc better. The last receivers to see the field, run the right route, fight off the line, block better, etc. LB'ers, which gaps to shoot, who to cover in various passing situations, where to be in a zone defense, etc. The list goes on and all most of you see is a play made and while that's great, maybe the person making it wasn't ever supposed to be there as that's not the way it was called or executed.
The coaches aren't perfect, but they know what they're asking and see on a daily basis who is doing what they're asked. To be the best team they can be, everyone needs to be on the same page, executing their plan (whether that's the right plan or not is a different debate entirely), and one guy off page can result in points for the opposition come Saturday.
