I've now seen Perry play twice.....tonight & the spring game. He was the best QB in both games.
I mentioned back in the spring, after watching the spring game, that it was clear to me that the offense moves better with Perry under center.
Tonight, Malik looked scared to throw the ball over 5 yards down the field. 4 of his 8 completions looked like check downs. Malik is by far the best at throwing the ball behind the receivers.
With Perry, the offense has a flow to it. Defenses will at least have to respect his arm and won't be able to just play 9 in the box. The spring game and tonight is definitely a very small sample size regarding Perry, but nevertheless, it's time to start transitioning him into being the starter.
