The QBs

I only saw Perry, Weldon, and Williams play.

I thought Perry looked best. Those balls to Brevin, Langham, and Cager were accurate and had touch. He also has decent wiggle when he runs.

Williams might be the future. But I didn’t think he looked better than Perry.

Weldon got minimal game time. Dude can run. But that ball he threw that should have been picked wasn’t close to being accurate.

Perry’s pick was accurate. He just didn’t see the off defender drop.

Perry made mistakes. But he moved the ball much better and showed accuracy in the red zone with some good throws. Not enough on Cade. Williams looks like he could do it. Throws a very, very nice ball. Great decision making as well on the RPO and on his reads.

Hard to say Cade or JW cause you have very little to go on.

I think from what I saw from Perry he’s the guy.He needs some work on touch and he’s going to make some bad decisions like the Interception but you can see he has all the tools.

Don’t think CMR will make a change though. Not yet. After tonight though Richt has to see that if he stays with MR he should be on a short string about the size of a candle wick.

We have guys than can get the job done as well as Rosier. Now it’s up to Richt to make the change and give them a chance.

Its clear if a change is made then it would be perry. Thats why he got so much work with the 1s.

Unfortunately Richt showed his hand with Weldon - despite leading two TD drives in his only two series, he was yanked for Williams.

Rosier will start next week - he didn't do enough wrong to lose the job. Conversely I don't think Perry blew people away enough to put doubt in Richt's mind, but he got an extended look (a full half) so he's clearly next in line.

Williams will get shirted, but next year he's got a great chance to win the job.

I think Perry did enough here to give him a legit start versus Toledo and FIU. He can't be worse than Rosier.

Didn't get to see enough Weldon or Williams really.

1) Williams - totally controlled. Looked like a vet. Built like a QB. Pass to Thomas was beautiful but he fell down.
2) Rosier - kills me to say it, but you need an experienced backup in case Williams goes down
3) Perry - seemed nervous. Decent touch, but also looked like he didn't have command of field like Williams
4) Weldon - seems like Richt pulled plug early. Prob not a good sign for him.

Every other qb except rosier just had so much energy and looked glad to be in .. and the players seem to migrate towards them more opposed to rosier

Except for that one throw, which was horrible, in our own territory.
That wasnt an accuracy problem. He just made the wrong read and didnt see the defensive player. Not going to fault the guy that hard for one bad read when he was threading needles tonight.

Richt straight up lied to us. Rosier looked the worst of the 4 QBs and that is after all the extra time he got with the 1s to build chemistry.

This is gong to be a three week audition for the freshmen if we play good football against Toledo.

Imo nothing was decided tonight.

Rozier should start the next game.

The two most disastrous throws were from Perry (triple coverage) and Weldon. Williams looked good, but he should have, against a worn out team.

My ranking would be

Rosier
Williams
Perry
Weldon
God no
