where we're asking our receivers to do a wham or trap type block are not working, move on

Watched Moore completely whiff on a seal block on the edge and almost went for a 3 yard loss. If you build an entire run scheme around avoiding negative plays, why would you rely on WRs to consistently make critical, disadvantaged blocks? There’s not even an element of surprise on most of these. Spread those receivers way out and get guys of out of the **** box.I saw them have Tony Johnson try and Wham block a DE and get tossed and the RB stopped for pretty much no gain.
Folks still doubting Dawson.I don’t like it but I assume Dawson is putting it on tape to later in the year sneak that WR out in the flat wide open after the fake the block.
fair i guess, would like to see the thought there (and eventual execution), some of these are on 1 and 3 techs in the middle of the fray but I get itWhen are yall going to learn. There’s a reason for all of it.

We did it with Restrepo last year as well
I think Dawson does it just to **** off the fan base

Perhaps, but the 3rd designed run by Beck was irresponsible as the game was decided. When are yall going to learn. There’s a reason for all of it.

I don’t put much thought into it. Dawson is a good OC and I’m just a dumbass on the couch. I don’t understand some of the things he does but same time the results have been speaking for themselvesLikely didn't last year cause we were a pass leaning team
This year we're leaving on the run leaning so we need the big plays for the ground, not the air.
Just a thought.
It’s more likely that Beck went rouge there because he thought he could sneak another one in. Who knows.Perhaps, but the 3rd designed run by Beck was irresponsible as the game was decided.
The prior two were all that was necessary for DC’s to take note.

This!!! It’s probably to set up something later in the season. How many games did it take for Beck to keep the ball on the Inside Zone? You have to feel that something is coming later.I don’t like it but I assume Dawson is putting it on tape to later in the year sneak that WR out in the flat wide open after the fake the block.
