For the 2000000x, THE DEEP DISH PIZZA IS A NOVELTY PIZZA, THAT WAS BORN IN CHICAGO PRIMARILY FOR TOURIST. We eat thin crust Tavern Style Pizza! And for the record, if the deep dish wasn’t a hit, IT WOULDN’T EXIST or COPY CATTED ELSEWHERE.

Also, pizza creation vary across Italy. The Romans have their style, The Sicilians have their style, The Neapolitan’s have their style, The Torino’s have their style, etc. & I love them all. That’s the beauty about pizza; it’s versatile & can be created any way. I just lol at ppl frowning upon one style vs. others.

Now carry on.

I don't see anyone giving to the needy and publicly boasting about it. I don't see anyone publicly fasting (not yet, but give the Catholics some time, Lent's a year away).

No my friend; Pizza was truly invented in Italy, however we can argue that once Italian Immigrants in the early 1900’set up shop & introduced Pizza to American (Manhattan, NY), it was perfected, but it really took off after WWII.

So I would say Italy invented the Pizza, but as we know it today, it was perfected by Italian-Americans.

This is America. We don't say a bunch of foreign Jews invented the bomb we say AMERICA built the bomb. German American ***** didn't get us to the moon. AMERICA got to the moon. When you're here you're one of us. If it was Italian American immigrants all I see is Americans.

There's absolutely nothing odd about hating churces, especially christian ones. People hate apples or bananas and I hate churches. True, they play a vital role in local communites, but that's on a both negative and positive note. I never said or stated that there was something wrong with a person professing his beliefs or his love for beliefs, in fact, I reasoned why belief can move rocks and can elevate someone into something neither he/she nor anyone else could have seen coming. And that's regardless of how I feel.

As for my beliefs, I believe in the strength and the ability of humans. I believe anyone can become great in the endeavor that they choose and love to pursue, which is the key to success overall.

I won’t debate you on churches, especially your large bias toward,“Christian Churches”. Again if you read my original comment. I said I’m against churches. All of history shows the influence of Gods/Religion/ kings have manifested communal growth beyond comprehension for better or worse.

My main question is your belief in human strength and self awareness is based off scientific evolution only?? Sh*t I’d take you believing in Alien intervention above that.

Then I will add “Man” the one you believe in above all other things is responsible for all the atrocities and injustices you speak of. No church or religion has ever killed a human. The misrepresentation and manipulation of belief in something “higher” has been used utilized by “man” to persecute/subjugate humans.

Relax Francis!!! I’m aware of all different variations of Pizza throughout Italy and across the world.

I just said it wasn’t my favorite and we’re having discussion. Did you provide unsolicited Wikipedia Lecture for the “Burger, BBQ, Whiskey, Wine” side bars? The Maude moved it to its own thread. It’s summer time banter.

I haven’t checked out that thread, and that info on pizza wasn’t from Wiki. I’ve been around some of the best of the best taking pizza tours, getting educated on doughs, origins, styles, etc. I’ve also had some as clients who were 3rd generation owners. So I’m pretty versed in the pizza game; I was just correcting the notion of the deep dish is Chicago’s pizza. Many ppl believe that’s the pizza of the ppl, but Chicagoans rarely eat that unless they have family coming into town not from their b/c it’s a tourist pizza.

New Yorkers r notorious spreading that rumor as they r our arch enemy in the Pizza arena. I’m like dude, we eat thin crust not the deep dish. ****, most of the deep dish now is made to ship elsewhere.

I'm giving you the chance to research that again.

Regardless of that, religion is absolutely responsible for crisis throughout human history. And that's not even something that needs a long look, that's a fairly basic fact, so if you aren't familiar with it, I'd suggest you pick up more research on that topic before entering a conversation discussing it.

My apologies I confer with you 1000% it’s touristy and niche’ that has fastened it’s own fan base.

We were essentially arguing the same thing. Not a favorite of mine (LOL family former NY then Miami born and bred)! I’m aware Chicago has some great thin crust Pizza joints just “Chicago Deep Dish” I’ll still eat because, I can probably eat anything possibly resembling Pizza but in my opinion just “meh”.

I’m clearly pro science! But “Religion” is an ideology and a “Church” is a structure built for religious worship. Neither is a “Thing” capable of murder. Only people “who you worship” in the name. Religion I believe has been manipulated but most importantly misinterpreted by “man”.

I have parts of many religions I can feed off. The basic concept being to be a better person and humbling myself. Science does not explain everything in this world and despite the breakthroughs that I’m proud of, I can not possibly fathom “US” as humans are this x^ Umpteenth Trillion (mathematical) impossibility in this cosmic universe. As I said I could process Alien Intervention or Simulation before that.
 
I eat pizza... Don't care where it came from ... I eat pizza... Give me garlic powder and let me eat... I eat pizza...
