Not a chance in **** and I did give Randy the benefit of the doubt because he actually coached a NC defense something Manny will never do in his lifetime.

The process was an embarrassment. Should always cast a wide net in these situations. There is clearly some bull **** going on behind closed doors.

Yeah let’s just submit to Coral Gables because after all they have a ******* incredible track record of hiring winners. You are the type of guy that once Manny gets fired would love for his DC to take over because the players love him.
 
Doesn't it eat you up at all not knowing what could have been if the school was capable of a typical big time coaching search?

Obviously there were other names out there that I’d have preferred. I’m gonna see what manny does with his staff tho before passing judgement.

Yea I was disappointed to see this, but no matter who the HC is if he gets the right assistants in place it’ll be fine.

It’s a big IF tho.
 
Think y this has me so upset is b/c there is no due diligence.

Maybe Manny turns out great. But the odds of it not being great is much more realistic. For once, I want this admin to get out of its way. How do u not even have time to breathe before making another hire? This is why I said the problem won’t stop until the top is cleaned out.

True enough, our admin's track record isnt stellar, but I'm not prepared to ***** on Diaz's name or reputation just because the coach I wanted wasn't hired. And for the record, I wanted Babers or Leach.

Idk about being an embarrassment. I do agree it was lazy and we should’ve at least interviewed some candidates. Manny wasn’t my 1st choice but I’ll give this some time
