Yeah, in this case it’s hard to know. It appeared that UGA was not going to get punished for losing to Texas; primarily because they had already beaten Texas prior to the CCG.

Both Big 12 teams were outside the top 12 last year so that doesn’t help us for historical reference.

SMU, with losses to Clemson and BYU, dropped down to number 10 from number 8; Penn State dropped from 3 to 4.
