That’s not in the rules. I can see that argument for a 1 loss team. But 9-3 getting in over a 10-2 bubble team that got left out of its conference championship game because of the conference’s retarded rules?

If Bama loses by 10 or more, they can put ND back in if they want.

The smart thing for the committee to do is have us jump BYU this week. Then they can say to BYU ..win the conf championship and you're in. If they lose next week no one will complain.

Also SMU dropped 2 spots last year after losing to Clemson. All we need is BYU to drop 1 if we don't jump them this week.

Miami picked up two common opponents wins in one weekend with PITT and Stanford. Now we own 3 common opponents with NC state, PITT, and Stanford, and the all important Head-to-Head. and ND has Syracuse. The committee is now unable to put ND over us.

"Other relevant factors such as unavailability of key players and coaches that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance." Will be considered.

So it is not all that far fetched for Ole Miss to drop. IF they lose half their roster and almost all their coaching staff then they should be treated worse than F$U '23.

I can see UGA making it to the quarterfinals again. Not sure any of the others are actually good enough. no Ou, no D ole miss, no D bama, no D Texas am. Of course one of them will get a W vs UVA or Tulane/UNT.
