The only reason CoRch Diaz will give Jarren Williams back the starting Job

Should’ve been R. Williams. Especially if was fully cleared after the louisville game.
He was cleared at some point in the season, but I don't recall exactly when. I thought he deserved a shot as well, once healthy. Still, I get that Golden felt he had his QB of the future and wanted him to get reps.

If our defense doesn’t play lights out in the red zone Kosi would have lost that game. Kosi’s one advantage is a downfield and he overthrew every pass downfield. Yeah he ran in a touchdown at the end but Jarren would have hit a wide open Deejay for the same touchdown.

QB’s are judged by their arm and Jarren was leading the ACC in passing efficiency. Jarrens also not Kaaya in the pocket he runs faster than N’kosi. He just has to learn when to run

Don’t forget the poor pass to Osborn in the end zone.

I honestly don’t care who starts, I’ll leave that to the coaches. But OPs obsession with Kosi is approaching restraining order levels.

NKosi played a great game against UVa... clearly better than what we would’ve gotten from Jarren.

You’re right. Jarren could never surpass 182 yards.

N’kosi couldn’t complete anything over 10 yards all game and his completion % was lower than Jarrens all year. No more explaining because you just care about your guy. I like Kosi and was glad he started vs UVA but he isn’t the future here.

Lmao If u think Jarren would’ve led the offense like NKosi did and put up equal numbers against UVa you need to re-evaluate ur thought process.

The only comparable team that has a total defense anywhere near UVas is Florida and they are ranked defensively in the mid 20s.

Jarren threw for 214 yards and only scored 1 TD. Despite having the ball most of the game 36 mins to 23 mins T.O.P. against UVa, NKosi only had the ball for 25 mins compared to UVa 34 mins T.O.P.

So NKosi scored more points for the offense than Jarren did with less opportunity with the ball against a much better defense.

Jarren is the future at Kentucky or GaTech not at Miami..

Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda I'm not arguing that.....I'm sticking with facts

I want to win NOW....let JW learn on his own time in spring practice next year or if Kosi falters later on

This isn't about who you supported in the beginning....I could care less, This is about winning games NOW.

So as far as I'm concerned I don't care who starts...IF Tate gave us the best chance to do so and proved it like Kosi did, I'd be for him now

Bottom line;
I'm for whoever gives us the best chance to win the remaining games....right now that's obviously Kosi not a still learning JW

Is if he is tanking the season, conceding that this season is a loss and needs the excuse of playing a sub par QB who is a “freshman” still learning every little detail about what it takes to be a QB.

Not starting N’kosi Perry at the beginning of the season already cost us 3 games. Jarren hasn’t beaten a Power 5 team in his career and his performance against Bethune and Central Michigan shouldn’t give anyone confidence that he is capable of getting a Power 5 win this season.

Diaz’s decision this week will decide how the rest of the season will play out and the type of excuses we are going to hear from the coaching staff trying to explain away the **** show we are going to witness the rest of the season if Jarren Williams ever starts again on this team.

Go back and listen to his post practice interviews after each game earlier this season ...JW sounds like a kid in Rec league still learning the ABCs of Football. He’s not mentally ready right now to win fb games at this level.

how y’all giving Perry all of this credit for the uva game when the defense finally showed up for the first time the whole season (5 drives inside the 25 yet only allowed 9 points) but give Jarren all the blame for the first 2 losses of the season when the defense was handed a lead in the 4th and immediately gave up a td right after and just frankly didn’t look like a manny Diaz coached defense whatsoever ?

Jarren deserves blame for the va tech game early on but giving up 6 redzone trips for 6 tds is fcs level sh*t is it not? Be consistent now the offense is no better than what it was with Jarren. People wrongly say dc’s got the blue print on Jarren, but then what did bronco mendehall admit after the first drive coming out of halftime? That’s more of an enos issue and what he’s calling considering that’s 2 dcs in a row saying something with different qbs. Not to mention we couldn’t complete a single pass over the middle of the field or more than 1 that traveled 10 yards or beyond. In addition to that 9 sacks the last 2 games for Perry which is the same 4.5 rate Williams has had all season. With that being said he’s a little more mobile in the pocket but it’s not a significant difference. The offense problems is not fixed with Perry in there at all. News flash neither one of those guys are the problem. Oline and situational playcalling (3rd and short or redzone) are STILL Miami’s biggest offensive problem period

Some of you guys want to argue about why YOUR guy should start for whatever reasons :noidea:

I don't have a guy....I simply want to win

What I do have is eyes...and my eyes can tell me who's winning and hot NOW ....and what has happened during this season

For me the choice is easy.....anything else is taking an unnecessary chance

the offense was awful against a good UVA d. the diff is that enos called very nice simple drives that helped neuter the UVA d. outside of two drives, enos was the same as hes always been and again, refused to go spread.
