The one that got away....

Joey Bosa, ryan shazier, tre mason, Ed stinson, corey lomiener.

Defense, with a stout running game wins championships and they would have laid the foundation for future years thus allowing UM to be successful an land alot more s. Fla talent.

Go Canes

Lemonier,, Sammy Watkins, A.Bosa, Trey Mason, M Thomas, Vernon Hargreaves, Jaynard Bostwick , T.Valentine, Bridgewater, Geno Smith, Skai Moore.

The list is endless

Teddy would have been program changing. An African American qb from the Miami area staying at home would have been huge. Everyone else is speculation such as Cook, Valentine, JC Jackson (they haven't done a **** thing).

You mean like Harris? And I could have sworn that Morris is black from Miami area. Now, Teddy is a BETTER qb and that might matter. Teddy was Randy's and that was that.

For me it is Collins. Everything said, Duke goes down in Tally and any chance we had ended. If Collins comes in with fresh legs, bigger body and still speedy, it could have been big lift for the offense. Couple scores running ball and eating clock, and maybe we give criminoles a chance to be the coking losers we know and love. Win that game and who knows what happens. Beyond Collins, any DT.

We have some real geography challenged people here. Understandable considering the overall intelect. I'd go with Cooper and Cook. Two Miami kids who should be Canes.

QB- Bridgewater, Watkins, Cook
Valentine, Bostwick, Lemonier, Thomas, Bosa, Moore. Adding to our front 7 on defense

Uh, didn't we already have that? and it wasn't so huge.

In fact, we had African-American QBs at UM from Miami going back to the early '70's. I can't remember Kary Baker whom I think went to HS at Edison or somewhere else. We had some other black QBs in the '70's, I think. I don't know if they were from Miami. Then we had Greg Jones from Edison back about '86. Ended up transferring to WVU. Reportedly, he had one of the strongest arms ever at UM.

The fact is, we haven't had an outstanding black QB at UM, ever, as best as I can remember. Kenny Kelly came in as highly-touted, and he was essentially beaten out by Ken Dorsey. The closest we had to an outstanding black QB was Jacory and most would not consider him outstanding.

If I'm wrong about the history, please tell me.

Bridgewater could have been our first.

Kelly got hurt and that's how Dorsey came in. He never beat him out

The answer is Teddy but the list is crazy

QB-Teddy
RB- Bernard
RB-Collins
WR-Cooper
WR-Watkins
OT-Young
DT-Bostwick
DT-Valentine
DE-Lomiener
DE-Bosa
LB- Shazier
CB-Roberson
CB/S-Joyner
S-Elam

I have a couple...

Bridgewater (already mentioned by some): Kid would've won us a minimum of two games this past season (Duke & UL) and kept it close in the FSU game. They may not have scored a ton of points, but at least he's smart enough to keep that ****** defense of off the god**** field.

John Jenkins (the DT that went to UGA): JUCO DT who would have at least stopped the bleeding at the position. Instead, we whiff on this kid (for whatever reason) and we've missed on essentially every DT target since.

Eddie Goldman: There was a rumor once that Eddy Goldman was really interested in the Hurricanes. I'm not sure how true that is, but it goes hand-in-hand with the DT recruiting here since Gorlden arrived.

The most disappointing though is Sonny Michel. The kid had been essentially written into stone since 2010. Fast-forward to 2014 and he's off to UGA. What the **** happened here!?
