The Ole Miss Thread

Ole Miss will not be an easy win. Stop Chambliss and win.

Despite UGA playing like garbage and giving Ole **** opportunity after opportunity, UGA still wins if it simply runs the ball near the goal line to end the game. I don’t know who is the better team between the two but neither impressed me.

I wanted UGA to win so could whip their asses. Alas, we will whip Ole Miss' ***.

UGA averages 1.5 sacks per game, tied for 110th overall in the nation; aka mid.

0 sacks against Ole Miss; 3 TFL. Ole Miss is top 25 in the nation in both lowest QB Sack% and Sacks allowed on QBs per game. A good amount of that has to do with their qb’s legs ofc.

UF got to him but OU who leads the nation in sacks per game (A&M is second, Miami is third) only got one on him; although they had 7 TFL which shows some the potential for disruption against their run game.

Miami is playing a football game with an opportunity to play for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in our home stadium and city. I expect them to empty the clip and play with tenacity. These kids are hyper competitive. The opponent, whether UGA or Ole Miss, was going to be a challenge.

I preferred Georgia on our revenge tour. I see Ole Miss to be a more talented SMU. Only concerned about the slight possibility of underestimating them and we lose that edge. Cristobal has proven to show up for big games and the named matchups but disappears against “lesser” talents or at least perceived.

But it’s the semis. Everyone should know what’s at stake.

Very similar to TAMU. We must stop the run first and then limiting Chambliss will take care of itself. Lacy got to the edge tonight and averaged 4.5. We have to keep that number below 3.5.

Similar but Ole Miss is better offensively at the skill positions. But, they aren't as deep or better than A&M on the OL.

Georgia would have been much more matter of fact
I’ve watched Chambliss all year and have seen him live in Oxford
Dude is a BALLER
He’s a winner
My concern is tempo they bring wearing Miami DL out as we have to chase his *** around!!!

He makes more off script plays than ANY player in college football

Intriguing matchup to say the least. Suddenly we are the only blue blood left in the field, and we were dog**** for the better part of 20 years.

Also, Ole Miss WILL be favored. They have the better record, and the flashy QB who played out of his mind, and are an SEC team who are having a magical run under the most bizarre circumstances.
Miami -2.5
