The Ole Miss Thread

try as i might, my brain cannot imagine ole p.iss playing for a natty. it just does not compute. surely the football gods can't allow this to happen?

if we lose, then it must mean that the fiasco bowl is truly cursed. two of our most painful losses imaginable happened in that damned bowl. I cannot bare a third.

Well how about Indiana?

Only thing that worries me is that this is the first CFP game we are favored in. I think there was an edge while playing as dogs, and I have there isn't a mental letdown thinking we should have this one in the bag.

With that said, besides Chambliss being an issue, their coaching staff is not in an ideal position right now. Run the ball, limit the big play defensively, and we should win this game.

They cannot stop the run and they cannot pressure Beck. We will score 30+

Their offense will be frustrating because it will neutralize our pass rush, but I trust our defense to stop them when we need them most
Ole Miss will try to counter our strength, and prevent this from being a “trench game”….they will use quick pass game to perimeter and see if we can tackle in space. And then on defense, they’ll take away our run advantage and force us to throw.

Hoping we play aggressive press coverage and assault the WR at LOS. No free release off the LOS.

How would you have countered the bigger personnel?
Take a nickel off and bring a lb in. But Imo it was too early to do anything too drastic. We lived with what we do even leaving JS in single coverage at times . No bracketing and doubling
