***The Official Malik Rosier appreciation thread.***

He played good but if kaaya can play he will whether you like it or not. People in this thread are hilarious, canes fans so quick to bash our star players. It makes me sick.

Rozier may be the real star QB

It was good to see he didn't mind taking a little risk. His 69% completion percent is the best on the team this season. I understand he is isn't Brad Kaaya but he did well last week running Brads offense. I hope to see more wrinkles this week that will benefit Rosier.

He played very well don't get me wrong. Very happy with his performance and the result. However, are we all just going to forget the safety he conceded on the intentional grounding call? While I would agree that a player in their first career start shouldn't be expected to be flawless, it also might be important to note that he didn't display the greatest decision making on that play. His 69% completion percentage may argue otherwise, but I'm not completely sold on the kid. I think he makes a lot of plays with his arm. Better teams will give him much bigger fits

It's kinda comical that we were able to pull him out of the great state of Alabamy to be a backup when the mighty $EC is longing for even average QB play. Jesu Christo, Rosier probably could have started at Georgia this year.

No. Kaaya is one of the best pure passers in college football, for sure. I haven't seen all the others so I can't say he's the best. He's got amazing accuracy and can place it on a dime long and deep outs.

Still, Rosier is much better than people think, and I recall a post on here about him where someone who professionally judges talent talked about how Rosier was a very underappreciated talent as a run-throw QB. As he gets comfortable and experienced, we do have a chance to continue winning with him until Kaaya returns. I'm hoping that Coley finds a way to utilize both to keep defenses off balance. They'll have to prepare for a lot more, rather than focusing on sacking Kaaya.

I think the 3rd down eff was above 50%, had a whole lot to games outcome...
Playcalling was better last week for sure outside of that last drive where they gave Duke the ball back. We have been improving on 3rd % every game since we played Fsu outside of Clemson. The key is getting 6, 7, or 8 yards at least on 1st down which makes every other down easier to convert

Of course play calling was better, Al-Bortion was in some New Jersey McDonald's stuffing his fat face full of Big Macs.
