It's not "the most talented team" in the history of the planet if you've lost a game. The '01 team was very likely the best Miami team (and one of the very best ever) since they won it all. And were undefeated.

And the '00 squad should've been in the championship game. This is what most Miami fans are aware of.

But, you can believe that Butch was just an average coach if you'd like.

As with all of your other posts on these boards, you just prove to be a court jester on here - nothing more.

No substance. Just the chronological age of an adult with the maturational age of a child.

Then, he allowed horrible La Tech to hang around against us, which caused us to lose our spot in the 2000 NC game because margin of victory was a big component of the title game formula back then.

The problem with the anti butch group, is realization that he wasn't seasoned like Corch Richt is, yet produced while undergoing a catastrophic probation phase. Butch haters are dead to me. You ain't a cane if you hate Butch Davis. FACT. Nobody ever did more with their back up against the wall like he did and he is a FOOTBALL GOD.

People don't hate Butch. It's the begging and reminiscing. It's over. He is not coming back. He will never coach here again. He built a great program and had a great eye for talent and development. However, HE WILL NEVER COACH here again.

I am not exactly in the BBB crowd at this point in time, I'd take him over Richt and he was who I wanted every hiring we made, now ehhh pipe dream is all that is. He should be idolized with what we have seen since he left. I sense some deep resentment towards him off the board. Maybe not you, but others don't like him. Blasphemy

You obviously have no idea he was hired from being an OC, not HC like Butch. He barely made it past one season. He sucked.
Now the common theme among the brainless, is that he has zero track record at UM. Butch does. He built the greatest team ever HERE
He has a proven track record here, past massive sanctions probations, he built the best team ever, capped by a 11-1 season that should have been a NC, even with the 1 loss, since the Canes had beat FSU and Washington was lower ranked than UM. Dorsey was still green.
You POS UM haters hate the greatness Butch built 2000-2003, we get that. You love losers like Kiffin, Larry, Radio, Golden, Richt etc. Understood.

All you Boochtards never have a good answer why Booch lost 4 games in the sorry *** ACC Coastal every year. You claim he’s some otherworldly coach, yet he couldn’t even lose less than 4 games in the Coastal despite out recruiting every team in the division.

Larry Fedora won the fcking Coastal and put together a far superior season to anything Booch ever did there. Mack Brown also did better at UNC than Booch.

I always ask this question and never get an answer, but f**k it, I am going to ask again. When was the last time a college coach was fired from one big name program for underachieving, went on to another big name school and found even greater success?
