It's just his contrarian schtick. Sometimes it works, like with Morris, usually it shoots a big fat gooey wad into his eye, like defending Richt, calling for Chip Kelly to UF, etc.

Oh, it worked with Morris. The decline was obvious when we didn’t win a single super regional game for six years, then mangled the roster so badly that we completely missed two tournaments.

You were screaming that the team wasn't good from 2014-16 when they were winning the ACC and going to Omaha twice.

So you were getting that spectacularly wrong.

Then you tried to lie and claim that you called the missed postseasons. You didn't.

You have some of the worst foresight of anybody on this forum and yet you claim to have "called" stuff.

But they're an exemplar of great recruiting, coaching, etc.

The "what abouts" are always stupid.

It's one of the biggest locks on this forum, just behind Jagr praising a losing coach and getting all of his predictions wrong.

So the argument isn't whether or not Jim Morris failed in the last ten years. The big issue is whether or not Jagr called it.

Vanderbilt making it to Omaha three times in eight years doesn't change the fact that Morris' baseball program declined over his last ten years.

Jim Morris' first 15 years: advanced past the regional round 14 out of 15 times.

Jim Morris' last 10 years: advanced past the regional round 3 out of 10 times.

But there was no decline. Just higher tuition.

I would love to know which year Jim Morris gets to leave out in order to get 3 CWS appearances in his last 10 years.

Miami, last ten years: 3 regional titles, one single win in Omaha.

LMAO. So Vanderbilt went 3 in 5 years, not 3 in 10 or 3 in 100, since we get to choose the smallest possible time period.

We were obviously talking about the last ten years, up through the most current full season. Fail. Just own your mistake.
