The New Unis (allegedly)

I'm glad we're not wearing the all orange look anymore- that was terrible.

I hated the last Nike uniforms with the different helmets. I like the 2001 uni's the best, but overall these are better than our current Adidas ones. The shiney metallic feathers were embarrassing.

I'm a little disappointed that there hasn't been a more through discussion about how many recruits this change will cost us..because you know the kids like the "fresh" threads.

//wut, oh you mean they care more about winning than uniforms...never mind.

I would like to see pants below the knees all the way to the ankle. Orange socks would look nice with black wellington boot-like shoes. Shirts should be worn out to cover for the extra long pants and long enough to be tieable so they can be tightened up into a bun but also made tear able for the running backs. Helmets should be done away with so players can be seen on TV. The U can be cut into their haircut.

Yeah, that's the ticket! ;-)

While I understand the look, and it is nice, it's clearly not what Adidas said they would do. There is nothing revolutionary about these. Maybe they meant that the technology that goes into the materials and what not are.

These could have been done my anyone. These look good, much better than what we have now.

The player cuts will look better

Mark Richt told them to do it. If we were with Nike or Under Armour they would've been given the same directive.

I have got get the cedar trunk out. I might have one from in the day -- I had a ton, will not even need to buy any.

Wish I could order a custom #11 in this exact style.

Mine are all from before Ken so I have no 11. I really hope these are for real. I am tired of the institutional shame of our glorious history. We split time like Jesus did. BC, before Canes, and AD, after destruction of known order.

Thank God. We are Miami, not Oregon, no matter how hard people want to try to fit us into the Oregon mold.

This. CMR put to end the uniform nightmare Nike and Adidas has given us. Something that Blake James/University of Miami should have done a long time ago. It took a competent coach, with a vision, who gets it. Jimmy and Howard would have done the same. We haven't seen this kind of leadership since Butch Davis.

I would have loved to see this combo infused with the early 00's jersey. Hope we keep the 00's number fonts.

What do the pants look like?

My sources say they will be this pattern.

Bang bang real talk man this is what bugs me out. I like these better than what we have now but this proves adidas isnt confident in making something unique because of the first jerseys and all there othere *** jerseys they do

Nothing to do with Adidas and there confidence in making a jersey. Richt told them to give him a design that mirrored the 80's and the 90's. They already had one mocked up because they had plans for a one-time throwback look. He wants a full-time throwback look and told them to get it done. Unlike in the past where the apparel company gave us whatever they thought looked good, Richt is dictating to them what he wants.

10 years of bra straps and mustaches were a nightmare. One year of Green and Orange helmets with terrible uniform combination (this was more on the school). **** Nike!

Have you ever even attended a Miami football game?
