The New darlings of South Florida

In Orlando it's has been great to see so many people embracing this team. There is a buzz around this team that is just electric. The most notable thing to me is that the reaction this team is getting is very different than those successful UM teams received in the past. It seems is if college football fans in general are actively rooting for us and even non football fans and casual viewers want to get in on all the fun. In the past few weeks I have had hardcore UF and FSU fans alike approach me with all this enthusiasm telling me how impressed they are with our team and how much fun we are to watch.

I've also had fans of other big programs like Michigan, UGA, Tennessee and even Penn St tell me they are rooting for us because their team is no longer in contention. Gentlemen, our Canes have become a national phenomenon and I haven't even brought up the turnover chain yet!

Just one more regular season game to go and this squad will have accomplished something quite uncommon in an undefeated regular season with a tremendous opportunity to achieve much more. They must remain focused and if they do, what most thought to be an impossibility will become a legitimate possibility. I think it's quite obvious that the 2017 Canes are a very special group of young men. The rest of the country sure thinks so.

I was out in Wynwood last night and the amount of ppl rockin' Canes gear was crazy. I know it sounds dumb that I was surprised people in Miami would be wearing UM gear but it's so much more common now than just a year ago.

+1... My friend who is a die hard FSU fan wants us to bring the trophy back to Miami.. I was like "****"
