DB tackling is so critical in todays spread game. You see corners and safeties making 1:1 tackles often in the NFL but there’s so much bad tackling bad angles/poor leverage in college those same plays go for big chunk or scores. As a whole, our DB tackling has been awful for years.

It’s hard to stay in the race for offensive skill position talent with our offense failing miserably, but it is nice to see the relationships that our analysts make. We can’t give these players a reason to go elsewhere if we want them to play here.
