Miami lawyers probably gave this to the NCAA in June and told them anything more and we will sue your ***. I bet the U was pretty sure what was going to come down.
Still too many scholies in my humble opinion.

**** the ncaa!

+1

The NCAA hit us with just enough to still say **** you but not enough to get sued. ****ing pricks.

Glad its over! So how do other schools twist this for a recruiting advantage? So this will limit us to approx. 23-27 recruits per class (depending on max scholie total)? We can still field championship caliber squads if we're able to get the best at each position. Didn't Al prepare for that by limiting last years class? If so then the effect may be only 2 per year. Not bad strategy at all.

Info still coming. Person familiar with COI's work says it would be a surprise if Miami's scholarship reductions "change things much."

Source continues: "I would be very surprised if anything made it go below six (scholarships) over three (years)." Time shall tell.
