All week it was that USF was this G5 juggernaut who beat two ranked teams, has an NFL defense, blah blah blah.

All of a sudden last night and today....Miami beat a G5 team and they aren't really that good.

Hope Mario keeps these boys motivated. **** the media.

The hype was that they beat two ranked teams. But Boise St seriously misses Jeanty and UF is hopelessly overhyped year after year. It was destined to be disappointing for them in any case.

Oh I get it. But the same media blew smoke up Boise and UFs ***.

They're ignorant

I'm not worried about a narrative underrating us. I'm worried about hearing all week how great we are and how much Lagway and the Gators suck. It's a CFB scenario we've seen a million times and the staff will need to keep this team locked in.

The media overhyped USF but that’s a good thing it lead to a ton of publicity and those that only look at the box score will wake up today and say **** Miami is a juggernaut.

The metrics showed UsF was an average team that beat another average Florida team. The stats showed the true USF and them going back to back weeks of Florida and Miami was a daunting task.

I thought brown would be able to make some plays but he had no chance against the defense. All positives no matter ppl say today.

This is EXACTLY correct. Do NOT read your own press Miami. This is the next step for us.

I mean hopefully they understand Florida lost by 10 points with 5INt. Their defense has talent and offensive skill guys do as well. It all comes down to Lagway and if he can limit turnovers.

This is no cakewalk

I’m not worried at all about this. This team top to bottom is mature.

UF is not a well coached football team. You could see a lack of discipline, quit, and poor on-field leadership. They have some talent but Napier is not the guy; this long into his tenure and there's no identity or development that suggests they will compete at a high level.

They will struggle against well coached teams even if said teams have lesser talent. UF is not a place where parents send children to be well coached.

Impossible not to be motivated vs UF & FSU. Maintaining the motivation vs Stanford, NC State's of the schedule is the real test.

I’m not worried one bit. When I saw Mark Fletcher and Girard Pringle and at the team store, I said to them “Great game yesterday!”. Both collectively said “thanks but the jobs not finished”

This will show us if the team has good leadership

this will tell me if we are different this year or we are repeating the definition of insanity

One thing I believe , Mario tired of the Miami can't win narrative. Boys gonna be locked and loaded. Mario wants to end Napier Saturday night
