Yea. Hero ball will get him killed against our defense. I still think people underestimate the violence the defense plays with. That’s hero ball is hard replicate game to game, defense to defense.Didnt really see that vs Georgia. I saw a QB sucsessfully playing hero ball.
Lol their offensive staff is busy evaluating transfer portal guys for LSU. Their game plan will be whatever the game plan was for Georgia.I fully expect Ole Miss to use SMU’s game plan as their starting point
they did the same for OSUCBS sports all picked us all to lose
The only reason SMU was able to hang around is because we didn’t capitalize offensively. They could do nothing and then we turned the ball over on a pass that should’ve been caught when we were up 7-0.I fully expect Ole Miss to use SMU’s game plan as their starting point
PPl forget we had them on the ropes when Beck delivered a ball that JOJO should have caught for a big gain. that play completely changed the momentum of the game. even with their game plan we still were a bull**** roughing the passer away from walking outta there with a 20-17 victory. if we hold Ole miss to 17 i dont see how we don't march to the natty as pourous as their run defense is.The only reason SMU was able to hang around is because we didn’t capitalize offensively. We left a ton of points on the board. Should’ve scored a TD before the half after the punt return. Got down deep before and Mali had a penalty on Bauman’s catch inside the 10.
This is a game where we will have to punish Ole Miss’ defense and keep them off of the field to limit their tempo. Make them play keep up with us.
Exactly, every time Miami gets the ball, it needs to be a 4-6 minute drive. Just be efficient, move the ball, and run the clock. Miami needs to have drives like that last drive against Ohio State, that will allow the defense to play fresh every time they are on the field. It could be very difficult for Chambliss to do anything if we hold on to the ball for long TD drives and win field position battles.
If Chambliss is throwing the ball about 35-40 times, I really like our chances. We do need to key in on Lacy. He is a problem…PPl forget we had them on the ropes when Beck delivered a ball that JOJO should have caught for a big gain. that play completely changed the momentum of the game. even with their game plan we still were a bull**** roughing the passer away from walking outta there with a 20-17 victory. if we hold Ole miss to 17 i dont see how we don't march to the natty as pourous as their run defense is.
I feel like part of SMUs gameplan was Miami sleep walking through the game. So far this Miami team has showed up. Will be a tough test for sure and I am ready for this one.I fully expect Ole Miss to use SMU’s game plan as their starting point
The biggest challenge is how quickly Ole Miss gets the ball out. It negates our biggest advantage
And LSU limited them to 24. And Washington State limited them to 24.
I look at it like this: He played the game of his life against Georgia the other night. The odds of him repeating that performance are astronomical. It seems like every week we keep hearing, “Miami’s defense hasn’t seen an offense like this” and they proceed to go out and dominate once again.I actually think the opposite - feels like Chambliss holds on to the ball a lot and tries to play hero ball, a lot like Cam did. He was able to evade UGA’a guys but I don’t think he has seen speed like our defense this year. Will be tough to contain him, but if someone can do it - it’s our guys
