The most encouraging thing I saw today

This kid is the first UM QB in a long time that can throw receivers open. Those subtle adjustments can't be taught. Ethier you have or you don't. It is going to be fun watching him develope, enjoy the ride fellow canes.

The audible calls are great but I hope he learns how to change protection schemes at the line bc this OL is terrible against the blitz.

They are just plain terrible, and therein lies the weakness of this team, or is it special teams? Kaaya is going to have an awesome career at the U. It appears he has Dorsey instincts/smarts and mechanics of Vinnie. This gives me a lot of hope for the future, not sure this staff is capable of expectations.

Mark it down.... Him and Berrios will leave as the most prolific QB - WR tandem ever here.

Kaaya to Berrios

Kaaya to Berrios

It even sounds cool. Instantly recognizable names that will soon be known nationwide. Going to be fun watching them.

Kaaya is going to be a really great QB if our next staff develops him properly. He's smart, poised and pretty fcking accurate.

And if we can get him an Oline that can actually pass protect for him. He has proven that when given enough time in the pocket, he will make you pay. Now lets see if he can do that against NEB.
New coaches and system will solve the OL issues. Defenses are teeing off on our OL because we're too predictable most of the time.

They need to do more max pro. And double tights. This will help him and slow down the pass rush. Fisch did alot with Morris and it worked.

That's the last thing they need to do.

Get your playmakers out in space and spread them out. Get defenders out of the box.

LOL. Good luck getting new coaches.

From what I seen the only thing Kayaa needs a good Oline and better pocket awareness. I think he is progressing every time he steps on the field. He looked very comfortable yesterday and he looked like he was in preactice.

True...and that catch by Berrios wasn't bad either.

I thought the td throw to Berrios was a phenomenal throw. Lot of young QBs lead that right into a pick. He had a small window and the window was to back shoulder him away from the safety, and he did it perfectly.

that was a thing of beauty

You could see at the game yesterday that the team is starting to rally around Kaaya. We just need to keep improving on the OL. Berrios is tough as nails.
