The More You Know...About Louisville

Petrino for all his off field issues is a great coach and if he can he will ROLL it up big time. this staff has to step up this year

Dan I was sh ways under the impression Burgess was a grade casualty. At least that's what was going around at the time. Waters & Burgess was a package deal until Burgess knew he couldn't qualify. Is that incorrect? Nice work!

This is what Miami dealt with last year’s bowl game loss to Louisville.

DUKE did not play.
Dorsette only played 3 plays - injured.
Herb Waters did not play.
Malcom Lewis was injured.
Scott did not play.
Hurns did not play.
Coley was our only WR.
Crawford was the RB who is now a cornerback.
Yearby was in high school.

Different showing this year dammit!! Burns better run that kicker down and knock him out of the game or I'll lose a little faith in him. If the Canes take a loss it better be because their third string is better than ours. Canes first and second string out for fighting, and their first and second string in the hospital. Lets go Canes!! Get this party started right!

Yearby was in high school.

Although I do agree with your point.

I feel that...for the offense of side of the ball. In fact you could have just stopped with Duke and I'm with you.

But defense is what I need to see. Not one of those guys you listed play defense. And I know you can argue some effect of that on the defense, and that's fine. I'm not trying to get into all that. I'm just saying it's time to put up or shut up on the defense of side of the ball. I want to play fast and nasty. Show me AGRESSION.

Just to add on to the other players not playing in the game that were at the bowl game:

- Preston Brown (starting ILB, led team in tackles, 3rd Round, 73rd Pick)

- Calvin Pryor (starting Safety, 1st Round, 18th Pick)

- Hakeem Smith (starting Safety, All-American Conf Team, Undrafted with Titans)

- Marcus Smith (starting DE/OLB, 1st Round, 26th Pick) Smith had 18.5 TFL and 14.5 Sacks [2 against us] and

- Brandon Dunn (starting DT, Undrafted with Bears)

That dude was abusing our OL like it was nobody's business in the bowl game.

Damm we was getting slapped by kicker and no retaliation. Woww

The worst part is his teammates just watching it happen. Artie was in a lose lose there. At least a teammate could have shoved the kicker or something.

Pu$$y *** team. We goona lose Monday night. This team is Charmin soft. They were scared of Louisville. Pathetic

That didn't take long, you were all in after the HBK announcement.

But you're right, to me that was the most disappointing thing about that game. We took it in the hanky all game long and just accepted it. We never showed any toughness or fight, it was pathetic.

You as a fan are pathetic. And we aren't "goona" lose Mon night.

That was and will be Louisville's best team ever; they just happened to run into UCF's greatest team ever, both were BCS bowl teams, the Canes drew a horrible matchup, undermanned against a team in a way too low caliber of a bowl...

Having said that, they will never be that good again...they were the birth child of Miami and UF making horrible coaching decisions and both programs having their respective heads shoved up their asses

couldnt agree more... if that kicker is playing this year expect to see him get blown up early, maybe on his first kickoff... if Al has any balls he puts in a player and tells him to just go knock the **** out of him... just completely take him out and have the whole team talking **** to him... was a ***** move slapping burns and he needs to be taught a lesson

**** that gif of Burns getting punked was the softest **** I have seen since Wisconsin running our **** while the team huddled around the heaters.

If a teammate had to help you deal with a kicker you should quit football. Having a teammate intercede would have been more humiliating than getting piped down by the kicker in the first place.

Hurns DID play. he dropped a simple pass on the first third down we encountered. would have been a first down.
