The more I think about it Miami could just go Independent.

My question about going independent is, once all this conference realignment happens after the government passes, whatever they pass, who’s worth a dam is going to wanna play an independent Miami? What incentive would they get from the SEC or the Big 10 to play us? We wouldn’t be able to play a schedule imo worthy of getting into the playoffs

A Conference they want out of like a couple other members.

B go into multiple crowded Conferences aka the SEC and the Big 10.

The likes of FSU and Clemson needs that guaranteed money.

With this day and age of College football Miami does not just like Notre Dame does not.
 
We will be ostracized by the the B1G, SEC and of course the ACC. Big 12 could leverage us to join conference or no games from them either. No way SeC and BigTen are going to grant us games against their teams.

If you wanna think about that some more feel free to take a look at that same team we despise tv contract... That's what allows them to stay independent. Ours would be with sunshine or cw or whatever the **** they called these days. Won't happen.
