So many memorable moments. Two that standout to me that I haven't seen mentioned are the comeback against UF orchestrated by Brock Berlin in 2003, and us shutting down VaTech and Marcus Vick on the road in 2005.

I loved Hill describing this play. In the huddle, told Erickson (paraphrased) "I haven't caught **** all day long, and I don't care what play was called - but you're going to throw it to me."
That told me that these guys were playing fast and loose - and having fun.

You beat me to it. I was in Boca Raton working for a company purging records, and had my mini-tv with me so I could at least hear the game. Had the old school TV antenna. I remember being in disbelief after the block and the TD.

#10 Miami pulls off the greatest "upset" in CFPO 4/12 team format "history" as 9.5 underdogs against #2 Ohio State (and defending National Champions) in the Cotton Bowl Quarterfinal 24-14 on 31 Dec 25. Considered payback for the infamous "phantom PI flag" National Championship loss against Ohio State in 2002 where the Hurricanes were 11.5 point favorites.
