No pride in authorship here @DMoney , maybe a pinned forum thread/page exclusive to the stills/gifs/vid clips ONLY of the big moments of Miami Hurricanes Football?

It should be the highs and the lows, because they are all snapshots of the journey where the viewer takes some emotion from it and learns, especially the newer fans who didn't experience it live.

Proper attribution as necessary of course for copyright, I certainly wouldn't want to not properly credit where credit is due.

Think of what an awesome archive of Hurricanes history the thread would become.

Please re-work/edit as necessary...

Maude Note from RVA: I’ll fix photos and various items in posts. Just notice to all that I’m not putting a Maude edit disclaimer when I do that. It does show when we edit it if we choose to so I will leave that notification on when I do that. We can also add additional photos and videos/gifs in to posts if you have one and want it added to someone’s existing post @Empirical Cane please note. Also adding @DMoney , @No_Fly_Zone , @USNAVYCANE , @RF-4CCane , @caneingville @OBLIVION

Terry Porter, a field judge from the Big 12 Conference crew, throws a late flag for defensive pass interference on Miami cornerback Glenn Sharpe during a fourth-down play in the first overtime of the 2003 Fiesta Bowl, played on January 3, 2003, where No. 2 Ohio State defeated No. 1 Miami 31–24 in double overtime.

The pass from Ohio State's Craig Krenzel to Chris Gamble fell incomplete, but Porter's penalty gave them a first down.

The call remains one of the most debated in college football history.

I see all of the pundits saying Reed made the right decision but the ball was late, I still don’t see that guy open enough because Scott was moving that way as well to make a play on the ball and get a hand on it if it was in front of the TE.

All time moment for me. The only thing better would have been the call by McDonnough at the time. I think he didn’t see the catch at first which would have made it much better if he had.

In perhaps one of the most powerful off the field events in Hurricane history, on 18 Sep 21, popular broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit calls out University of Miami leadership for not appearing to support sustaining a high-level football program. The University would go on a few months later to hire Mario Cristobal as head coach and revamp, top to bottom, how the entire football operation was run.
