The mean green is back.

My favorite all time greens. Too bad it was in such an awful era

Dolphins always wore white at home back in the dqy Only nfl team to do that. Seems smart to me when the heat index is 100+ to be in white and the other guy in dark colors.
That’s right.

But I was referring to having a “white out” in the stands when the visiting team is wearing white like Golden did in 2013 vs the crocs.

IIRC I read somewhere that GT has to get yearly permission to wear white at home from the teams they play

Hearing about a "white out" game reminds me when we played the Gators at home in 2013. Canes wore all Orange and Florida wore all white 😆

I don’t like the black jerseys but if we are going to wear them I would rather it be a forgettable opponent like Bethune. I want to look like the Miami Hurricanes if we are playing a big game. It would be travesty if we get a night game against FSU next year and we are not wearing classic orange and white.

We wore green/white against Duke last season.

If it's up to Mario, he probably prefers the traditional look at Miami. At Oregon, the school probably called the shots since they have all that Nike money and 7,000 uniforms.
They also won. I’d bet that Mario will loosen up on some of this stuff when we start winning again.

Nope, not the only team. Dallas did and still does this. And yes it is smart to force the away team to wear their darker uniforms, to farther bring in the heat to add to the home field advantage.

I like the Adidas green but I wish we could bring back the 80's and early 90's shade of orange
Yes. I would love to get that orange back. The Adidas orange looks closer to the old Russell orange, than the last few Nike jerseys. But it's still lighter than the 80's 90's (Russell and Nike) look. Nike, over time lightened our orange.
