If Nickel and Coleman are smart, they'll stick it out this next year behind Leavitt/Simpson/Mystery-QB and THEN really try to take over QB1. They'll still have 3 or more seasons to do things.

I'm not a mope or pessimistic, but Williams is damaged goods here. Seems like a nice, young kid and because he stuck it out with the team instead of transferring to Southeastern University (Lakeland) or something, he'll probably get a natty ring, but I just don't know if you can permanently fix the deer and the headlights thing against a D with a pulse. And, his upside...?

He doesn't have the tools to go to the league, so why not stay at the U, eventually become a GA and go into coaching or something?

Nice kid, but with all of the money we've invested, NO WAY Mario and the school risk it on an un-athletic QB who froze against the greatest D known to man - the mighty Iowa State Cyclones!!!! Good kid, but he needs to be happy with his lane and whether or not we bring in a QB1, I just think he's way too big of a risk for Mario.

How many 1st round talent pass rushers who can also set edge and defend run do we have? Lightfoot has elite pass rush potential. But it’d be a gamble on whether he can add the weight and strength.

I’m not sure Blount’s future looks like position wise. We’ve not really seen Lowe to know what his impact is. Pickett and Scorggins are fighting for Lightfoots role.

Yeah after seeing the huge affect of our DEs this year, I want to stack the **** out of DE again.
