This thread is completely schizophrenic. It starts with Dmoney telling us that UM gave its best shot but Cantwell isn’t coming.
By page 8, just a few hours later, people are predicting him to UM.
Not to mention, Cantwell started off as the #1 player in the country in this thread.
And now we all wait until 3:45 pm for the newly minted #10 player in the country.
im so nervous lol
Cantwell is a smart kid. The intelligent move here is take the $2mil from Miami, enjoy the Miami lifestyle for a year or two while sitting out and getting stronger (and smarter, learn some investing skills in the meanwhile) and then transfer to the SEC to experience the playoffs and that culture, go pro after year 3 from Bama or Georgia and be a top 10 pick lock.
Didn't Georgia send a team of reporters to the ceremony?
Pls make me eat crow
Land him and I double my canes connection

Some one picked Miami today . It’s like back forth but regardless it’s a long ways until pen hit padAfter working the phones the past couple days, I am still getting feedback from the Hecht that Georgia is the favorite. And since that is the best information I have, I'll go with Georgia as my pick right now.
But here's what I'll say: there's a lot of misinformation being put out there. When Cantwell took his unofficial visit to Miami a few weeks ago and sped up his decision timeline, he was all set to pick Miami. I knew that at the time, but there was still info being fed to others that Oregon was the favorite. Am I now being left in the dark? It hasn't really happened before, but if it did, this is the type of recruitment that would merit a total shutdown.
The Canes have invested a ton in Cantwell and Keenyi Pepe, and if they go 0-2 it would be a major loss. They haven't won that type of OT battle since 2023 with Francis Mauigoa and Samson Okunlola. Those are battles you want to win, because those elite tackle prospects often end up as high NFL picks. There is a good hit rate at that position.
Cantwell makes his decision at 3:45 PM EST.
Not to get ahead of myself, but are we anticipating some somewhat immediate domino effect/impact after he commits to the good guys?
