That's why I believe UGA leaked it. They wanted to make it uneasy for the family to have people think they only wanted the money. UGA still would be paying him a **** load of money but now the stigma would be removed.

you telling me bama wasn't breaking the bank under Saban? and kids weren't out to get paid? Did they go to Bama for the scenery?

I saw it 1st hand in 2006. We saw kids without 2 nickels flashing $ and cars all over social media after committing to Bama or UGA. Those schools were allowed to openly cheat. Then schools like us would get investigated over the smallest things. This has been the game for at least 20 years.

Yes but only certain teams could successfully pay before NIL, and those are the ones *****ing now!! Well except maybe LSU, they are laying out the dough this year

Every single heavyweight program wanted him and was #1 on their board

The first recruit Ryan Day visited after winning the national title when the dead period opened was Jackson Cantwell

Georgia has been recruiting him for 3 years, and he was their most important recruit

Not at all and that's not what I'm insinuating at all. I am aware all the money exchanging hands over the years. It's just now the money issue is totally out of control today. You don't think other players are upset about the money thrown around their not getting $$$. The dynamics of college football has changed DRAMATICALLY and the entire system is a sham! These are young kids collecting large sums of money out of HS and they've produced NOTHING. Also, changing teams from one year to another is a complete travesty. COLLEGE FOOTBALL is in a terrible place right now.
